January 4, 2013 Have to keep digging.

As I dig down around the roots, I'm fascinated by its shapes. They almost look like tentacles. I'm deep enough that I could simply chop off the roots at this depth and not have to worry about them getting in the way, but I am trying to devise some kind of cool purpose for this thing and want to keep it intact as much as possible. Believe it or not, I'm thinking a frame for a glass-top table.

That's it for today. Dirt pretty much looks like dirt after awhile...actually, in this case it's sand.
