June 9, 2012

I've moved all of the cinderblocks around the old garden. Now I have to take down the fencing. Not as easy as I thought, and, honestly, I didn't expect it to be that easy. What I didn't anticipate was the strength and mass of the roots that grew through the fencing.

The next images demonstrate what happens when one gets careless with nature. I am not looking forward to clearing these out.

Just some before-and-after pics.

Finally, the following image demonstrates how much the yard slopes toward the south. I know that the mound will not remain that high. I can already tell that I'll need to pull much of that dirt towards the back of the second terrace or the front of the third terrace.

Suburban Hermit of Fayetteville, signing out. I'm going to sign off like this from now on in the hopes that it is recognized in Google searches.
